Tivat Regatta UNA Montenegro Cup

📍 Sailing Club Delfin, TIVAT | April 26, 2026 | 11:00 AM

As part of WindFest, on Sunday, April 26, 2026, the 21st Tivat Cruiser Regatta UNA Montenegro CUP will take place — one of the longest-running and most recognizable cruiser regattas in Boka Bay.

For more than two decades, the Tivat Cruiser Regatta has gathered sailors from Montenegro and the wider region, maintaining its traditional format and distinctive course that has made it unique within the waters of Boka Bay.

The regatta starts off Ponta Seljanovo, after which the fleet sails around the island of Our Lady of Mercy and the island of Sveti Marko, continues through the Ralo strait, and then heads toward and around the islands near Perast. The finish line is once again set at Ponta Seljanovo, completing an attractive and demanding course that connects nearly all the key maritime points of the inner bay. This route gives the regatta its distinctive character while testing the tactical skill, endurance, and seamanship of each crew.

As in previous years, a strong turnout of cruisers across various classes is expected. The UNA Montenegro CUP once again remains more than a sporting competition — it is a gathering of sea and sailing enthusiasts and a central part of WindFest, dedicated to preserving the culture of life by the sea and promoting Boka Bay as an exceptional sailing destination.

Bajaga & Instruktori Concert

📍 Pine Waterfront, TIVAT | April 25, 2026 | 9:00 PM

When the sea calms toward evening and the spring wind brings that familiar feeling that it is time to set off, WindFest opens its fifth edition in the most fitting way — with a concert by Bajaga and Instruktori on the Pine waterfront.

In the setting of the sea, boats, and glowing marina lights, songs that have connected generations for decades take on a special meaning. Bajaga’s music has always belonged to open spaces — streets, squares, and shorelines — places where we recognize ourselves in verses about freedom, journeys, love, and life’s small but meaningful choices.

Opening WindFest with this concert symbolically brings together the essence of the festival — the sea as inspiration, the culture of coastal living, and the idea that sport, education, culture, and entertainment complement one another. While sails wait for favourable winds and festival programs begin, music reminds us that joy, togetherness, and emotion are part of the same landscape we strive to preserve.

That evening, Pine will have space for everyone — those who grew up with these songs and those discovering them for the first time. WindFest begins with a concert that promises a night to remember.

Veterans’ Regatta

📍 Sailing Club Delfin, TIVAT | May 10, 2026 | 11:00 AM

As part of WindFest, Sailing Club Delfin once again organizes the Veterans’ Regatta — a sporting event celebrating decades of experience, sailing knowledge, and a lifelong love for the sea.

The Veterans’ Regatta has become a distinctive segment of WindFest, gathering sailors whose dedication and achievements have shaped the history of sailing in Tivat and across Boka Bay. It is both a competition and a meeting of generations, where former rivals cross sails once again while strengthening the sailing community.

The regatta will take place in the waters of Tivat, with the starting signal at 11:00 AM, while participants will gather earlier that morning at the premises of Sailing Club Delfin.

Intended for veteran sailors, the regatta blends competition with a friendly atmosphere where experience and instinct for the wind come fully into their own. The event promotes an active life by the sea, preservation of maritime tradition, and intergenerational connection through sport.

The Veterans’ Regatta reminds us that sailing is not just a sport — it is a way of life that endures.

20. TIVAT REGATTA UNA MONTENEGRO CUP

JK Delfin – 27 April – 11h

The Tivat Regatta UNA Montenegro Cup celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. It is the most significant maritime event of the JK Delfin Cruiser Section, which has inspired many other popular initiatives, including the organization of Windfest.

An exceptional route, the gathering and socializing of local sailors, and a great response from foreign crews have, over two decades, branded the Tivat Regatta as the informal opening of the new sailing season in Boka for large boat classes. Delfin has been tasked with improving the organization of the regatta year after year.

Sailors, prepare your boats! For the anniversary, we’re preparing a great celebration both at sea and on the shore.

The regatta is open to cruisers, traditional boats, and the Hobie Cat and J70 classes. Around 50 boats and 250 sailors are expected to participate.

The race will follow this route: starting near Ponte Seljanova, rounding the “Tunja” lighthouse, the islands of Gospa od Milosti and Sveti Marko, passing through the Ralo strait, then the Verige strait, rounding the Perast islands on the left side, and returning towards the finish at Ponte Seljanova.

Spectators can follow the regatta along most of the route from the Tivat coast.

Trophies will be awarded to the fastest boat in real time and the top three in each category. The winner’s ceremony for the 20th Tivat Regatta UNA Montenegro Cup will take place in front of JK Delfin on April 27th at 6:00 PM, followed by a traditional dinner for the regatta participants.

ZOSTER

Pine – 25 April – 20h

25 years ago, a group of musicians from Mostar gathered out of necessity to respond to the environment in which they grew. They had something to say, and they had something to show. They still do. This is confirmed by the numerous hits they have gifted us, with changes in the musical lineup, through five studio albums. Four of these were recorded in the Mostar studio “Baraka.”

Connections to the story of JK Delfin and the reasons behind the creation of Windfest are apparent. Our club originated from a “baraka” (a small, makeshift building), which was not far from today’s Delfin building. Windfest was born out of the need to say and show that it is a society much more than just a small sports club; it is a primary maritime school and a dedicated guardian of the sea culture that defines the people of Boka. Therefore, we are very pleased to kick off Windfest 2025 with Zoster.

We are waiting for you, whether you’re one of our “fellow citizens” or not. The bura wind will blow on April 25th, or “OjuĹľilo,” “Everything that’s missing” is a minor problem when “A Man Wants to Be a Bird.” Maybe our mission is “Utopia,” but enough is enough – “Who has taken, has taken,” because it all depends on us. “A Man Named Fact” will save “The Sinking Ship.” The sea doesn’t have to, but we must use our minds so we don’t end up asking “Where are all those people going?”

We are “We will have when.” Our “Heart is Boiling.” Welcome to the fourth edition of Windfest!

DARKO RUNDEK & EKIPA

Ponta – 24 May – 20h

If you’re surprised that Rundek and Ekipa are returning to Windfest, don’t be. It was Darko’s unique music, enriched with exceptional lyrics carrying strong messages, that guided us to this decision. His words almost perfectly align with the message our festival wants to send to our town, its guests, and residents.

When you add Rundek’s tireless eco-activism and commitment to promoting sustainability principles through personal example, as well as his participation in numerous volunteer actions to preserve natural resources and values, it became clear that we needed to provide him with a stage at our Ponta Seljanova. This is a place we’ve been fighting to keep as a public beach for years.

And as we have shown since the first edition of the festival – it’s a unique stage under the stars, with a signal as if we’re on the prow of a great ship. The captain of the evening will be Darko Rundek, with his crew Ekipa, and all of us who will enjoy the journey and see off another edition of Windfest, looking forward to meeting again next year.

VRMAC DOWNHILL RACE

Peani – 24 May – 12h

As part of the sports program for Windfest 2025, on Saturday, May 24th, we will have the off-road cycling race “Vrmac Downhill Race 2025,” aimed at highlighting the values and potential of the Tivat hinterland.

A great team of local downhill cyclists is organizing the event for the third year in a row within the context of Windfest, in the beautiful setting of the future Vrmac Nature Park. From the Peani settlement, gravity and muscles will lead the cyclists to enjoy challenging tracks, offering fantastic landscape views all the way to the race’s finish line in the Marici settlement.

The track is of medium difficulty, with earthy, rocky, and grassy terrain, and the competition is open to both adults and children, with parental consent.

VETERANS REGATTA

JK Delfin – 18 May – 11h

We didn’t learn to sail on our own. Delfin has been around since 1951, passing on the art of sailing with the wind from one generation to the next. Many of our members and friends from other Boka Bay clubs now sail on cruisers, or have long left their dinghies behind, but the connection to the atmosphere and the sea doesn’t fade so easily. This will be proven once again at the Veterans Regatta, which will be sailed in the ILCA 7 class, and is intended for competitors over 30 years old. The event will be followed by a gathering on the shore with local dishes and drinks, and symbolic prizes will be awarded to the most successful competitors.
