The Small Tivat Regatta is dedicated to small sailing classes, which are the backbone of the development of sailing in Montenegro. Therefore, the regatta will bring together all the forces of the Boka Bay sailing clubs, whose young competitors will compete in the Optimist and Laser classes. The start of the one-day competition, the number of races for which will, as always, be determined by the sea and wind conditions on April 29th, is scheduled for 11 am.

One of the most important partners of the Wind Festival, when it comes to local cultural institutions, is certainly the Public Institution Museum and Gallery Tivat, which has incorporated several significant scientific and artistic contents into the program of this year’s edition, giving the Wind Fest a boost to position itself as a sustainable development festival.
The first event organized by this institution is an international conference on the topic of “Intangible Cultural Heritage and Sustainable Tourism: Opportunities and Challenges (2003-2023),” which will be held from April 28th to 30th, 2023. The Public Institution Museum and Gallery Tivat is organizing the conference in anticipation of the 20th anniversary of the adoption of the UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2003.
One of the most important partners of the Wind Festival, when it comes to local cultural institutions, is certainly the Public Institution Museum and Gallery Tivat, which has incorporated several significant scientific and artistic contents into the program of this year’s edition, giving the Wind Fest a boost to position itself as a sustainable development festival.

As the first Wind Fest “began with wonders,” as the lyrics of Darko Rundek’s song Tigidigi Rege say, the second edition – Wind Fest 2023 in Tivat brings an exclusive – the first performance of the Split band Daleka Obala in Montenegro in their career spanning over three decades.
The opening of the festival will be marked by performances of Tivat artists. The Cultural and Artistic Society Boka, which celebrated its 45th anniversary last year, will present the Dances from Boka, followed by a concert of Klapa Jadran, who will be joined by the nationally popular Tivat band Toć. After performing joint numbers, Toć will logically lead us to “Daleka Obala,” whose lyrics have marked decades of celebrations behind us.
Klapa Jadran, formed by members of the Jadran choir, has been preserving the klapa song as part of the identity of Boka people for 50 years, while Toć is a band that has been playing for ten years. They recorded their first gigs in the Regatta cafe bar in JK Delfin, where they also got their name. Because, as their godfather, one of the greatest Boka sea wolves Peđa Pavićević would say, each of our feasts is “Toć!”
Whether the 14 palm trees for the renovation of the tree-lined promenade at Pine City have arrived due to Daleka Obala’s performance at the Wind Fest, or if the Wind Fest will begin with their popular song “14 Palms,” you decide.

Rašomon je japanski film snimljen 1950. godine u režiji poznatog japanskog režisera Akire Kurosave. Glavne uloge tumače Toširo Mifune, Mačiko Kio i Masajuki Mori. Scenario se zasniva na kratkim pričama Rjanosukea Akutagave “U čestaru” i “Rašomon”. Film je široko poznat i smatra se jednim od najboljih filmskih ostvarenjâ svih vremenâ. Govori, između ostalog, i o jednoj velikoj ljudskoj mani: kukavičluku.
Silovana žena, ogorčeni muž, seksualno pohlepni bandit žele da se prikažu u najboljem svjetlu (hrabri, plemeniti, vatreni, samopožrtvovani) i istovremeno boljim od drugih (koji su kukavice, pohlepni, seksualno devijantni, licemjerni). Na kraju slučajni posmatrač svjedoči o moralnom i fizičkom kukavičluku sve troje. Dvojica muškaraca previše su preplašeni da bi se viteški borili, a smrt jednog rezultat je nesretnog slučaja, a ne lukavstva i vještine.
