Concert: Hornsman Coyote

One of the most prolific Serbian reggae/dub singer-songwriters, Nemanja Kojić Kojot, better known as Hornsman Coyote, began his journey in 1994 with the band Eyesburn. This band uniquely combined metal foundations with reggae influences, making them stand out in the local and regional scene at the time. After Eyesburn, he embarked on a very successful and fruitful solo career, during which he collaborated with some of the biggest names in the local and global music scene (Soulfly, Burning Spear, Dub Syndicate, Lee Scratch Perry, Asian Dub Foundation, and many others). The local audience also remembers him for the unforgettable hits he created with Del Arno Band.

Concert: City Orchestra Đenovici

Brass bands and city orchestras are a cultural feature of Mediterranean coasts, mostly consisting of a mix of amateur and professional musicians who cultivate both classical and modern repertoire. In addition to the city orchestras of Tivat and Kotor, Boka can boast the local Đenović Orchestra, which, due to the breadth of the repertoire it maintains, can be characterized as a large band depending on the nature of the performance.

Founded in 1919, this orchestra has produced generations of musicians, from enthusiasts to professionals. Today, there is no part of Montenegro or beyond where people have not heard of this authentic group of talents who proudly represent their origins and heritage, no matter where they perform.

At the Wind Festival, they will perform on an exceptionally attractive stage, built on the Ponte Seljanovo peninsula for the last festival weekend. The Đenović Orchestra will feature around 40 musicians and show us that music, like the wind, knows no boundaries, bringing us a concert lasting about an hour and a half, performing popular world hits.

“What is recognizable about the Đenović Orchestra is that their performances always hold something for everyone and that they are not limited to one musical generation or genre. Just like Boka, they have grown and developed, preserving the best of 100 years of musical evolution.” – Boka News

Concert: Concert: Rhythm, Dance, and Happiness (Svemir Lazarević, Dejan Matovic Seagull Prime, DVj Shimbo)

Svemir Lazarević is an enthusiast of acoustics as a science and someone who has a phenomenal feel for music related to Africa – dance, love, sun, and happiness. Svemir is someone who makes plants dance, creating an ambiance that clears the mind, while listeners draw power from a source of pure energy. This native of Herceg Novi – a western Bokelian – will bring gusts of the southern wind directly from Africa, with elements of gentle, cheerful summer Maestral, delightful Ostri, and a touch of pure Bura. Those who want to socialize and dance should come and join the fun.

Dejan Matovic, better known as Seagull Prime, is a DJ and producer from Herceg Novi. He is a member of the duo 2Beat, a pair you’ve had the opportunity to hear at many festivals throughout the Balkans, such as Exit, Sea Dance, as well as in numerous clubs and within various multimedia events. At DTV Partizan, you can expect afro rhythms through electronic, modern sounds from Seagull Prime, in a set that will be carefully musically selected for the Wind Festival.

The performances of the mentioned DJs will be complemented by visual effects prepared by international artist DVJ Shimbo, who “colored” last year’s performance of Darko Rundek and the Crew, which opened the first edition of the Wind Fest at Pine last year.

Concert: Daleka Obala

As the first Wind Fest “began with wonders,” as the lyrics of Darko Rundek’s song Tigidigi Rege say, the second edition – Wind Fest 2023 in Tivat brings an exclusive – the first performance of the Split band Daleka Obala in Montenegro in their career spanning over three decades.

The opening of the festival will be marked by performances of Tivat artists. The Cultural and Artistic Society Boka, which celebrated its 45th anniversary last year, will present the Dances from Boka, followed by a concert of Klapa Jadran, who will be joined by the nationally popular Tivat band Toć. After performing joint numbers, Toć will logically lead us to “Daleka Obala,” whose lyrics have marked decades of celebrations behind us.

Klapa Jadran, formed by members of the Jadran choir, has been preserving the klapa song as part of the identity of Boka people for 50 years, while Toć is a band that has been playing for ten years. They recorded their first gigs in the Regatta cafe bar in JK Delfin, where they also got their name. Because, as their godfather, one of the greatest Boka sea wolves Peđa Pavićević would say, each of our feasts is “Toć!”

Whether the 14 palm trees for the renovation of the tree-lined promenade at Pine City have arrived due to Daleka Obala’s performance at the Wind Fest, or if the Wind Fest will begin with their popular song “14 Palms,” you decide.

What we do know – the concert of the popular Daleka Obala will begin with the verses:

“14 palm trees on the island of happiness,

A beach where the waves roll…”

See you at Pine City on Friday, April 28th at 8:30 pm! Let’s sail “from sea to sea” together into another Wind Fest because “the night is beautiful, the stars shine in the sky, your smiles please each of us.”

Koncert: Autogeni trening

(Nikola Franquelli)

Koncert: Who see

(Nikola Franquelli)
